A WhatsApp button that answers the first question: when will you reply?
Most buttons just open WhatsApp. This one sets expectations, so visitors message you with confidence.
Expected reply timeNew
“Typically replies within minutes” under your name. Visitors know what to expect, so they message instead of leaving.
Hours in the visitor’s time zoneNew
Online or away from your schedule, and “Back tomorrow at 9:00 AM” worked out in the visitor’s own time zone. Late shifts past midnight work too.
Route chats to the right person
Sales, support, wholesale: each person with their own number, and visitors choose who to talk to.
Messages that name the page
The pre-filled message can carry the product name or page link, so you know what they’re asking about from the first message.
Light, and it won’t clash
Under 9 KB, loads after your page, sets no cookies. Shadow DOM keeps your site’s styles and the button’s apart.
Arabic and RTL built in
Right-to-left layout, Arabic interface text, and it switches language automatically to match your page.
Click tracking included
Each click sends a whatsapp_click event to Google Analytics and Tag Manager, plus Contact to the Meta and TikTok pixels when they’re installed.
No account
No email, no signup. Your settings stay in this browser and in an edit link you can come back to.

Back to the generatorHow do I add a WhatsApp button to my website?
Enter your WhatsApp number with the country code in the generator above, adjust the greeting and look, then copy the code and paste it before </body> on your site or into your platform’s custom code field. The button appears in the corner of every page, and tapping it opens a WhatsApp chat with your number and pre-filled message.
Is this WhatsApp button generator really free?
Yes. Every feature is free: the greeting card, reply time, business hours, multiple team members and click tracking. There’s no signup, no trial and no limit on visits or clicks. The chat card shows a small “Powered by Karam” line.
How do the reply time and business hours work?
You choose your usual reply speed, such as “within minutes”, and set your days, hours and time zone. During your hours the button shows “Online” with the reply time. Outside them it shows “Away” and when you’re back, converted to the visitor’s own time zone, and invites them to leave a message. The status updates every minute.
Will it slow down my website?
No. The script is under 9 KB gzipped, loads asynchronously after your page, pulls in no fonts or libraries, and sets no cookies. If you’d rather it make no outside requests at all, choose the self-contained version and the whole script lives in your site.
Does it work with Shopify, WordPress, Wix, Salla and Zid?
Yes, and any site where you can add code. Each platform has short instructions next to the code, plus a JavaScript-only version for platforms that don’t accept <script> tags.
Can different people answer different chats?
Yes. Add team members with their names and roles, each with their own number if you like. Visitors choose who to talk to from the card.
How do I track clicks in Google Analytics?
It’s built in. Each click on “Start chat” pushes a whatsapp_click event to the dataLayer and to gtag when present, and sends Contact to the Meta and TikTok pixels. Mark it as a conversion in GA4 or Tag Manager.
Do I need the WhatsApp Business API?
No. The button works with any WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business number, because it opens a regular chat through a wa.me link.
Is this a free GetButton alternative?
Yes, if WhatsApp is what you need. This generator gives you the greeting card, reply time, business hours, team routing and click tracking for free, with no account. Copy the code and you’re done.
Can I change the button after installing it?
Yes. Come back to this page in the same browser and your settings are still here, or use your edit link. Change anything and copy the code again. The settings in the code are also plain and easy to edit by hand.
After your customer taps the button
The button starts the conversation. Karam answers it.
Karam’s AI agent replies on WhatsApp from your store’s real orders and products, day and night. When it needs a person, it hands your team the whole conversation.
- 11 secondstypical time to the AI Agent’s first reply
- 37%of customer messages arrive outside working hours, and Karam’s agent answers them
- 500+stores chose Karam, on Salla, Zid, Shopify and more
Figures are minimums; the real numbers are higher. “11 seconds” is the median.
